### VI. Summary
35CrMo emphasizes the strength and heat-treatment performance of alloy structural steels, while ML35CrMo highlights the forming stability and production reliability of cold-forged materials.
For general mechanical components, 35CrMo might suffice; however, for high-strength bolts, flanged bolts, and specially shaped cold-forged parts—especially those rated 10.9 or 12.9—ML35CrMo is often the preferred choice for efficient cold-forging production.
